Today Apple released watchOS 4.1 and iOS 11.1 updates, as well as a new version of tvOS.
The tvOS 11.1 public update has been released. Owners Apple TV of the fourth and fifth generation can go to Settings -> System -> Software update. If you have automatic updates enabled, then you won't even have to do that.
tvOS 11.1 is an update that aims to fix bugs and improve system performance. Also in the new version, the vulnerability of the Wi-Fi WPA2 standard was fixed. We haven’t found any new features, so they are unlikely to exist.
However Apple added several new features to tvOS 11, which it released earlier this year. Support for wireless headphones AirPods has been added, as well as an automatic theme change mode. There are new wallpapers and support for new notifications.
There are no significant changes in tvOS 11.1.
This year Apple focused not on the system, but on Apple TV itself, releasing Apple TV 4K. Support for 4K and HDR content has been added.
