Apple has released tvOS 11.4 to the public. The update contains support for AirPlay 2 for Apple TV Gen 4 and Apple TV 4K, as well as bug fixes. See below for more details on all the changes to tvOS 11.4.
The company released tvOS 11.3 at the end of March, and the only significant changes in the new version were a new privacy settings screen and improved content customization for Apple TV Gen 4. The mode of automatic switching of video sessions was also added AirPlay. Shortly thereafter, developers began testing beta versions of tvOS11.4.

AirPlay 2
Apple TV (4 generations and 4K) can now act as speakers for AirPlay 2. Technology supports multi-room audio for iOS.

Various bugs have been fixed in the update.
Apple is showcasing tvOS 12 at Worldwide Developers Conference 2018, which kicks off in a few days. There is also a chance that we will be shown a new one Apple TV this fall.
To install the update, go to Settings> System> Software Update on your Apple TV Gen 4 or 4K and then select Download and Install.
