The new update WhatsApp for iOS brings two features at once that will make life easier for many users. In particular, we are talking about the redesigned integration of videos from YouTube and a new system for recording voice messages.
So, in WhatsApp you can now watch the YouTube videos sent to you without leaving the chat, using the “picture-in-picture” mode. This feature has been available on Android for a while now, and is now gradually coming to iOS. Gradually, the key word here: not all users have access to it yet, but the implementation of the mode should not take long.
Another innovation is called Locked Recordings and is intended to solve the problem with interrupted recording of voice messages. If you press the record button and hold for a few seconds, a context menu will appear in which you can select the hands-free audio recording mode. When you're done communicating your thoughts, just click on the submit button.
Both of these functions are only available in the new version WhatsApp 2.17.81. You can download or update the messenger at App Store.
