The company Microsoft, which today released an update to the Outlook app for iPhone and iPad with a new design, has officially confirmed that it is working on a dark mode for it.
While the new blue navigation bar, improved gestures, account avatars, and new feedback in the Outlook app for iOS will satisfy most users, many still crave Dark Mode.
Fortunately, Microsoft has already confirmed that this feature is in development.
Myles Fitzgerald, chief designer of Outlook mobile, said:
Microsoft is also working on dark mode for mobile Outlook, and this is a highly anticipated feature. Today's update does not yet include such a mode, but it will appear in the future.
Support for themes has long been available in the web version of Outlook for desktop: light and dark modes are available.
A few days ago, another employee Microsoft confirmed that macOS Mojave dark mode support will be coming to Microsoft Office for Mac.

Dark Mode is already available in Beta Office Insider 181029.
As you can see for yourself, the dark mode will work throughout the program, which is very useful for working in low light.

Full dark mode support will solve the problem of how much Office programs stand out on the system's dark interface.
According to Microsoft, Office for Mac with Dark Mode will be 'coming soon'.
- Outlook for iOS can be downloaded for free from App Store.
