MacOS High Sierra 10.13 beta 5 is available today to registered Mac developers and beta contributors Apple.
The version for public beta testers should appear within the next 24 hours.
You can download macOS High Sierra beta 5 (build name 17A330h) on the Mac Updates tab App Store. The full installer is available on the developer portal Apple.
The High Sierra update introduces new storage, video and graphics technologies.
There are also obvious changes. The Photos application has been improved: now it has a permanent sidebar with navigation, image tone editing based on curves, support for editing in third-party applications like Pixelmator and Photoshop, etc.
Minor changes have been added to FaceTime, Messages, Notes, and other standard apps.
MacOS High Sierra has already added a new file system Apple, highly efficient video encoding (H.265), updated graphics with support for VR applications and external GPUs, Safari 11 with a new anti-tracking function, information about flying in Spotlight, more natural voice for Siri and more.
The final version of macOS High Sierra will be released to the public this fall.
