The update can be downloaded via Cydia, the tweak remains free. The only change is support for the new jailbreak app.

If you don't know about the 'AppSync' tweak, it was released back in the days of iOS 7 and has been steadily updated since then. The main purpose of this tweak is to allow users to install IPA files on their jailbroken devices iOS, which are usually not available in App Store. These can be emulators, and developers who want to add their own or other people's applications to their devices can also use the tweak. The creator of 'AppSync' angelXwind two years ago singled out the users among whom the tweak is the most popular, and since then, little has changed.

There are 3 main types of people who use AppSync Unified.

  1. Users / Developers iOS who use ASUs to download their own or someone else's applications published in Xcode to their devices.
  2. Users iOS who download and install IPAs but do not identify themselves as 'pirates'. Some of them install emulators (like GBA4 iOS) in IPA form or rollback / clone their applications.
  3. 'Pirates' iOS.
