Stories Instagram are one of the best ways to share your life. You can only upload 15 second videos, but with text and GIFs, they can be made fun and interesting. On the other hand, 15 seconds is very short, and it would be nice to be able to download videos for at least 30 seconds. Fortunately, there is a little trick: you can split your video into 15-second snippets.
You can do it manually with a video editor, but it will take a long time. There is a great tool that will quickly do everything for you.
How to split a video into 15 second snippets
There are many applications that allow you to do this, but they are all limited in their own way: either by a time limit (up to 30 seconds), or by the number of excerpts (some applications require money to download the second and subsequent ones). In some applications, a watermark appears on the video at all.
The app we are going to talk about is an exception. The most you can pay for is no ads.
Step 1: Go to App Store and download the Split Videos for Instagram app.
Step 2: Open the app and give it access to the photo.
Step 3: Tap the center of the screen to start.
Step 4: Click Select Video.
Step 5: Select the video you want to split and then click Choose.
Step 6: Click Split Video. Wait for the app to do its job. After that, a message will appear stating that the video is split and you can find the excerpts in the Photos app.
Now open Instagram and download all the passages in the story one by one.
