Yesterday Apple released the second beta version iOS 11.1 with a number of new features and changes. These include hundreds of new emojis and return gesture 3D Touch to navigate between apps.
Several bugs have also been fixed, including problems with the Emergency Call function SOS.
What's new in iOS 11.1 beta 2
- As Apple announced earlier, hundreds of new emojis from Unicode 10 have been added to beta 2 iOS 11.
- The ability to open the app switcher by pressing 3D Touch has returned.
- Fixed issues with Easy Access introduced in the first beta iOS 11.1.
- Fixed emergency call settings. Now you can turn off the countdown sound.
- Fixed a portrait mode bug on iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 8 Plus.
- System speed has been increased and animations look a little better.
