Apple will get rid of function 3D Touch by 2019

Earlier, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that the technology 3D Touch will not be on the budget LCD iPhone, which will be released this year along with iPhone X second generation and iPhone X Plus.

We advise you to take this news with skepticism. The technology 3D Touch may not have justified its potential, but it is still unclear why Apple continues to improve system functions 3D Touch if it plans to abandon it.

For example, in iOS 12 new gestures 3D Touch were added for the home screen. On the other hand, most of the gestures 3D Touch can be replaced with a long press, apart from keyboard gestures.

The main sign that Apple can get rid of 3D Touch is a new feature iOS 12 that allows you to turn the keyboard into a virtual trackpad by long pressing the space bar. The trackpad works great and proves that the 3D Touch function is not needed to control the cursor. Also, from iOS 12 they removed the application switching with 3D Touch.

Getting rid of 3D Touch will allow Apple to earn more, because a layer of 96 pressure sensors costs money. Moreover, this layer increases the thickness of the display.
