Apple just released beta 3 systems iOS 11.1, watchOS 4.1 and tvOS 11.1 to registered developers and beta program members.
Versions for public beta testers should be released soon.
You can download and install the latest updates 'over the air' using the Software Update mechanism. On devices iOS: Settings → General → Software update. On Mac, under the Updates tab on Mac App Store. On tvOS devices: Settings → System → Software Update. watchOS 4.1 can be installed via the app for iPhone.
The first beta versions of systems Apple were released on September 27, and the second – on October 9.
In iOS 11.1 beta 2, we revived the ability to switch between applications using 3D Touch and added more than a hundred new emoji (which are also available in macOS High Sierra 10.13.1 / watchOS 4.1).
Other improvements include removing vibration when entering the wrong password on the lock screen, adding support for multiple emoji in keyboard recommendations, adding new animations, and changing the Health app interface.
WatchOS 4.1 beta 2 adds a Wi-Fi toggle in Control Center, a feature that many cell-enabled watch owners have been waiting for. The first beta of watchOS 4.1 introduced a new Radio app and the ability to listen to Apple Music, Beats 1, and music from iCloud without iPhone nearby.
The beta versions of macOS 10.13.1 and tvOS 11.1 contain only bug fixes and some improvements.
We install updates to our devices and will keep you updated with all the new features and changes that we discover.
