Resolution of new Apple Watch Series 4 will be greater than that of the first iPhone

A few days ago, the first official next-generation snapshot Apple Watch appeared online. Today it became known that the 42mm screen resolution of the model will be increased.

In the latest beta version of watchOS 5, details were found that the resolution of the new 42mm Apple Watch will be 384×480. For comparison, the resolution of the current model is 312×390.

Apple will increase the resolution by reducing the bezels around the display. In addition, the new watch will have more pixels per inch, which also contributes to higher resolution. Interestingly, this resolution is even higher than the first one iPhone with 320×480 pixels.

According to rumors, Apple Watch 2018 will have a large display (15% more than the current model). In addition, the appearance of the Digital Crown will be changed and an additional microphone will be added.

A new set of watch faces will appear that will fit up to 9 extensions. New 38mm and 42mm Apple Watch will be unveiled next week.
