Complications
As of watchOS 2.0 Apple, opens Complications for third-party applications from App Store. This will allow the watch to display the necessary information to users without having to open a third-party application.
Time Travel or time travel
Time travel will allow Watch owners to check scheduled events, or other information that is about to happen, right on the watch face. The time travel function will work with a digital head that allows the user to scroll through the head to get information.
Nightstand or bedside table
WatchOS 2 also features a new Nightstand mode that automatically displays the time of an upcoming alarm when the watch is in charge. In this mode, the digital head will delay the alarm signal for a specified time, and the side button will turn off the alarm.
Support for standard applications
This will allow developers to create applications that can run and process application data directly on their own Apple Watch. This will result in faster opening / closing of applications and longer response times.
Workout app
