Apple officially presented Apple Watch new generation. The new smartwatch is called Apple Watch Series 4, with a larger display and thinner bezels. See below for more details on all the changes in the new Apple Watch Series 4.
Before the presentation of the new watch, Tim Cook talked about how Apple Watch have become the 'number one watch' in the world, and not only among smartwatches. Then COO Apple Jeff Williams took the stage. He spoke in detail about the new features Apple Watch. 'Apple Watch have become an intellectual guardian angel of your health,' he said.
According to Williams, the Apple Watch Series 4 display is 30% larger and the body is thinner.
The watch face has been changed with extensions that now show more information and support more third-party applications. There is a new watch face for the Breathe app.
New dynamic watch faces have been added that can be interacted with. Among them is a dial with water, on which air bubbles beat and fly off the edges of the display.
In terms of parts, the Digital Crown has been completely revamped to support vibration feedback. For example, you will feel vibration when you scroll through the Podcasts app. The speaker is 50% louder.
Apple Watch Series 4 has a new 64-bit processor that is twice as fast.
Also used is a new generation accelerometer and gyroscope, which can now detect falls. When the watch detects a fall, you will receive a notification prompting you to call emergency services. If you are unable to move within 1 minute, the call will start automatically.
In terms of health functions, now Apple Watch can also recognize low heart rate. The watch can also monitor your heart rate and recognize atrial fibrillation.
As expected, Apple Watch Series 4 can do an ECG that measures the electrical activity of your heart. You can do an EKG by placing your finger on the wheel and the process will only take 30 seconds.
