An updated Mac mini, budget MacBook, large Apple Watch, etc. will be released this fall.

If you're going to buy a new Mac, it's best to wait a bit. A seasoned analyst Apple claims the company will update its Mac lineup in a few weeks, including the Mac mini. According to MacRumors, other devices will be updated as well.

Ming-Chi Kuo says that along with iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, the company will release new Mac mini, MacBook Pro and iMac. The most interesting thing is the 'budget laptop'. Previously, the analyst thought that Apple would release a new one MacBook Air this year, but now he is not sure.

Kuo also expects Apple Watch to get bigger this year. The two new models are available in 1.57 “(39.9mm) and 1.78” (45.2mm) models. Heart rate tracking will be set by default.

The updated Mac mini, MacBook Pro and MacBook will contain only new processors, nothing else will change. The iMac can improve the display performance and also upgrade the processor.

Kuo continues to argue that this year's lineup iPhone will consist of three new models: two OLED – 5.8 and 6.5-inch models and a 6.1-inch LED model. The lineup iPad Pro will include new 11 and 12.9-inch models with bezel-less displays and no Home button. Touch ID on tablets will be replaced by Face ID.

The analyst also believes the new headphones AirPods and AirPower charger will go into mass production in the third quarter of 2018. Accordingly, new devices will also be released this fall.

As far as the Mac lineup is concerned, it is in need of updates the most. The devices haven't changed in years. For example, the Mac mini hasn't been updated for nearly four years.

We will soon find out if the analyst's assumptions are correct. Apple should present new iPhone in September, and Mac in October. However, over the past few years, the company has only hosted one event in September, and this year may not be an exception. We will see.
