Over the past 2 months Apple I have consistently updated the current lines iPhone, iPad Pro and Mac . Add to this the new iPad and MacBook Pro, released a little earlier, and 2018 can be safely called a successful year in terms of the number of new apple technology. In this article, we decided to talk about product lines Apple that have not received updates yet.
Mac
The standard iMac lineup hasn't received an update since June 2017. The current iMac Pro came out in December last year. With the announcement of the new MacBook Air, the classic MacBook become the oldest of the laptops Apple. The 12-inch MacBook was last updated in June 2017.
All three lines may receive a small upgrade over the next few weeks. However, we will most likely not see significant changes until mid-2019.
As noted in the press release, the iMac Pro, introduced last year, may receive a major update in 2019.
Apple TV
Most likely, the next generation Apple TV will be announced at the same time as the highly anticipated streaming service from Apple. Recall that the current version of the console – Apple TV 4K – was released a year ago.
Audio systems
This year there was no announcement of the second AirPods or budget HomePod. Both devices have featured in analyst reports and insider information, with many talking about the possibility of their release this fall. Apparently, their release will have to wait until next year.
AirPower
Will the long-awaited AirPower ever come out? At the moment, only Apple knows the answer. We only know that Apple announced the wireless charger back in September 2017, but now, 14 months later, it still hasn't gone on sale.
iPad mini
A few weeks ago it became known that Apple is preparing to release the first update iPad mini in three years. The announcement did not happen at the October 30 presentation, but it could still take place this year. In the meantime iPad mini 4 is still on sale as an actual model.
