New iPad Pro will have Face ID technology

The iPad Pro line could borrow a lot from iPhone X, and rumor has it that this year's new model will indeed take on a lot of characteristics from last year's iPhone.

It has been rumored more than once that there will be a TrueDepth camera with Face ID biometric authentication in iPad Pro 2018. In addition, there are rumors that the entire line iPad Pro will be with minimal borders and no Home button.

Now in the update code iOS 11.3, the first beta version of which was released yesterday, a hint was found that support for Face ID will be added to iPad Pro. There is a mention of 'modern iPad' in the code of the new version. This means something, because in the past iPhone X was called 'modern iPhone'. Developer Guillermo Rambo believes the next iPad, like iPhone X, will support Face ID.

Face ID will be added to several different products Apple, if the same rumors are to be believed. There is information that the technology is used in the new iPhone of this year (iPhone X Plus and 6.1-inch iPhone with LCD – display ). It will also remain in the updated iPhone X.

If Apple plans to completely abandon Touch ID and switch to Face ID, then such a move by the company would be quite logical. The most interesting thing right now is not whether the company will add a TrueDepth camera to iPad Pro, but how it will do it. Will the new iPad Pro have the famous notch?
