Icons with frameless iPad without Home button found in iOS 12

The latest beta 5 iOS 12 contains a lot of information about other devices Apple, including iPad with Face ID. Now the list has been replenished with icons with iPad of the next generation without frames and without Touch ID.

The icon is part of the battery consumption section interface. Obviously Apple is working on updating the interface iOS 12 for new models iPad.

The icon iPad does not have a notch on the screen like iPhone X, which is not consistent with rumors. Despite the reduced bezels, iPad Pro still has enough room for the TrueDepth camera and Face ID.

I wonder if Apple will add horizontal mode support for Face ID or not. A lot of people use their iPad horizontally, so Face ID should work that way. The new beta iOS 12 hints at this. Most likely, horizontal support for Face ID will appear in iPhone 2018. This will be especially useful on the large 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus.

Apple should present new iPad Pro along with the line iPhone 2018 in September of this year. If this does not happen, the tablets will be presented in October along with a new line MacBook Air.
