Huawei P11 will copy not only Face ID, but also the notch in the display iPhone X

While all the top Android smartphone makers are fighting to be the first to use the new Snapdragon 845 chipset in their devices, Huawei is slowly working on the next flagship. Its announcement should take place on February 26 as part of the MWC 2018.

Huawei traditionally introduces an update to the flagship P line in the first quarter of each year. The next in line should be Huawei P11 with the latest Kirin 970 processor equipped with artificial intelligence. But there are a few more interesting features that can be added to this device.

Lately there are a lot of realistic renders Huawei P11. On them, the smartphone has a clearly visible notch in the display a la iPhone X. Considering the previously demonstrated analogs of Face ID and Animoji, Huawei will almost certainly add them to this smartphone.

Interestingly, the black bar under the screens is preserved. Presumably, this was done to avoid patent infringement. But in general, significant changes in design compared to the previous generation are immediately noticeable. The percentage of the working surface on the front panel has increased – apparently, this is what Huawei and was previously called FullView Display.

In addition, it was previously reported that Huawei will continue to use Leica optics in their cameras. However, judging by the renders, there will be more modules this time around. According to early leaks, the main camera will be 40MP while the front camera will be 24MP.

The Huawei P11 is expected to be one of the best smartphones next year. However, do not discount the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 7, Samsung Galaxy S and other flagships from top manufacturers.
