If you think the iPhone X notch is big, let's see what you say when you see the third generation Pixel smartphone. According to the source, the Pixel 3 XL will have a large notch and bottom bezel on the screen.
Pictures of the alleged smartphone were leaked online today. They were published by a Ukrainian blogger on his Telegram – channel. The blogger claims the Pixel 3 XL will be powered by Android 9 Pie and will have a Qualcomm 845 8-core processor and Adreno 630 GPU.
The spec sheet indicates that the smartphone will have 4GB of RAM and a screen resolution of 1440-by-2960 pixels with 494 PPI. A snapshot is also available with a wallpaper similar to wallpaper iPhone.
The notch on the screen of the new model is significantly higher than that of iPhone X. It is not clear if the notch of the Pixel 3 XL will have a system like Face ID in iPhone X, and for what purpose it is has been added.
According to Bloomberg, Google plans to completely remove bezels from Pixel smartphones in the future, but “this year the company has left the notch and bottom bezel for stereo speakers.”
The smartphone comes with USB-C headphones similar to Pixel Buds, a charging adapter, a charging cable and a 3.5mm headphone adapter.
According to rumors, the 2018 Pixel lineup will have a small 5.4-inch Pixel 3 without a notch and a large 6.2-inch Pixel 3 XL.
