Until the release of his devices Apple he prefers not to let them fall into the hands of anyone, except for a few reporters. Many can only guess at the size of the new models iPhone. We came up with a good solution – what if we create several layouts iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X, which will be available to any user for printing? This will help you compare device sizes and choose the most suitable one.
iPhone 8 and 8 Plus have almost the same dimensions as iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, so there are no surprises here. The main question is what size iPhone X will be in relation to other devices.
While everyone is actively discussing the screen of the new iPhone X and the Face ID facial recognition feature, we are actually intrigued by the size of this device. iPhone X is thinner and shorter than the Plus range, despite the fact that its screen size is formally larger. In fact, this size is almost the same as iPhone 7/8. It's just incredible to get a device with the same screen size as the Plus models, but with a smaller body. So, the iPhone 7 Plus is a great model, but sometimes it feels a little cumbersome, especially when you try to hold the phone with one hand and reach from its left edge to the right.
All the technical characteristics of the new devices are already known, and now we are only interested in their height and width. So:
- iPhone X: 5.65 x 2.79 inches
- iPhone 8 Plus: 6.24 x 3.07 inches
- iPhone 8: 5.45 x 2.65 inches
Print yourself a layout
Download this template to print your layout.
Just open the downloaded file and start printing. Before printing, however, make sure the document is not scaled. If the scale value is not immediately displayed on the screen, select the 'Show details' option. Set the scale to 100%.
iPhone 8 will go on sale soon and iPhone X will follow soon. We hope that by holding both 'phones' in your hand, you can make your decision easier. If the X dimensions are not to your liking, opt for iPhone 8 or 8 Plus.
What do you think about the dimensions of the new devices? Please tell us in the comments.
