Sales of iPhone X started in some parts of the world today, and iFixit have already disassembled the smartphone and told what is inside it.
The phone opens from the side like iPhone 7 and iPhone 8.
According to iFixit, the internals of iPhone X are the most compact compared to all the phones they've disassembled. The motherboard is smaller and the smartphone logic board is more compact than the board Apple Watch.
To free up more space for the battery and Face ID sensors, Apple cut the logic board in half and layered its parts. The disadvantage of this design is that repairing the phone will become much more difficult, and in some cases even unrealistic.
'The logic board of the first iPhone is the most similar to the logic board iPhone X,' write iFixit. When folded, it takes up approximately 70% of the logic board iPhone 8 Plus.
