Benchmark results confirmed that iPhone XR is as fast as iPhone XS

All new models iPhone run on the latest A12 Bionic processor Apple, and Geekbench 4 benchmarks have confirmed this. Benchmarks show that the bright iPhone XR has the same performance as the premium iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. However, the first model works longer and costs less.



Based on the test results, the XR not only compares to other expensive smartphones Apple, but is 13% faster than last year's iPhone X in 'single-core' and 10% faster in performance 'multi-threaded'.

The main reason the XR's battery lasts longer than other models is its screen.

In addition to the energy-saving 7nm processor, the XR has a regular LCD screen, which in some situations uses less power than OLED – panels. However, its screen resolution is much lower than that of other models – 1792 × 828 pixels, so its GPU has to use more power.


If you only care about smartphone performance, then go for the iPhone XR over the expensive iPhone XS models.

About benchmark metrics

The benchmark is a good indicator of CPU speed, but real-life results can vary and vary. Geekbench remains the best platform for these tests as it is publicly available for macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS and Android, which means comparisons are very easy.
