Apple Released 5th Betas iOS 12.1, watchOS 5.1 and tvOS 12.1

Apple released iOS 12 in September, and the company is now rolling out beta versions of the next update for the mobile operating system.


Today Apple released the fifth beta of iOS 12.1, watchOS 5.1 and tvOS 12.1. The updates will not be significant for all platforms, they are only aimed at fixing bugs and improving performance.

However, it is worth noting that version iOS 12.1 does contain some new features. The main one is FaceTime conferences, in which up to 32 people can participate simultaneously. In addition, sync iCloud for Memoji will appear. Also in the code of the new version, support for face recognition Face ID was found in a horizontal position, which means that in the future the technology will appear on new ones iPad Pro. iOS 12.1 will also contain eSIM support, one of which will have to be activated by operators.

Registered developers can download the new beta iOS 12.1 via Settings using the Software Update mechanism. It is also available on the developer site Apple.

To install the new watchOS 5.1 beta, Apple Watch you need to charge at least 50%, connect to a power source and place it near the tethered iPhone. And to install the new beta version of tvOS 12.1, you just need to enable the auto-update feature.
