Facebook Messenger can now send and receive payments via PayPal

Payment service PayPal has officially announced a new stage of cooperation with Facebook. Now the mobile messenger application of the popular social network supports P2P payments through this system.

To access this function, you need to click on the icon with a blue plus (it works both in dialogues and in group chats). Next, select Payments and PayPal as a payment method.

Note that at this stage this feature is only available in the US and is in test mode. In Russia and other countries, such payments will also appear, but later. It is also planned to add PayPal payments to the Android version of the messenger, but the timing has not yet been announced.
